Breaking the Glass Slipper: Labyrinth

This Monday marked the 30th anniversary of Labyrinth’s release (in the US). In these three decades, the entire world has been captivated by the story of teenager Sarah and her adventures in the labyrinth. The film is dark, imaginative, and strangely relatable for such a weird fantasy world. With David Bowie’s sexually charged performance, Jim Henson’s magnificent and memorable creatures, and Jennifer Connelly’s ordinary teenage complaints, Labyrinth has something for everyone.

Join Charlotte, Lucy, and I as we discuss what we love about this cult classic film. The article we reference by Anne Perry is available here. Be sure to share your thoughts in the comments.
